Quiver trees in the West Coast of South Africa.

These trees only grow in dry hot climates, as is the found in the West Coastal plains of South Africa. The local name is the Kokerboom (Aloidendron dichotomy). The San people used to use the hollow branches as quivers for their small arrows.

Portrait of a rare King Cheetah

This is a rare King Cheetah, although not a sub-species of the normal Cheetah, it is very unique with patches and blotches and full strips down it's back instead of the normal rosettes. There are estimated less than 10 left in the wild.
